Good Morning Friends issue 69

Mat 18:15 And if thy brother sin against thee, go, show him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

I cautioned My disciples not to give offence and to forgive. I explain here the first step of reconciliation when one sins against you by abusing, defaming, or in being injurious to you. It was never intended to be meant for if you should have a difference of opinion with others. It is meant for when you have been aggrieved by a person who has sinned before heaven and against you.

It was never meant that you should gossip, retain anger, suffer resentment, and retaliate. It is meant that you come privately to your brother and reason with him. Perhaps he also will see it as a sin and beseech forgiveness before Me and before you.

I am asking you, My beloved, to follow the order that there is in My Kingdom. Will I not be there with you and with them and shall not My favor toward you be known? Seek reconciliation before this festers. Seek My peace in this and perhaps your brother will listen.

With Love Eternal,
Jesus

A powerful lesson on the difference between what we perceive to be sin and what is an act that brings estrangement from God. May the affronts against us be worthily perceived and divinely guided working toward forgiveness, cleansing, and reconciliation to God's glory

About Me

Statement Of Faith: 1.) I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error as originally given; it is the final and infallible authority in matters of faith and practice. 2.) I believe in the Trinity, one God is Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 3.) I believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose bodily and literally on the third day. 4.) I believe man is by nature lost and in need of a Savior. By repenting of sin and accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior (by faith alone), we become right with God: our sins are forgiven, heaven is our home, and we will live with our Lord and other believers for ever. Good works may evidence our salvation, but we are saved by God's grace apart from our works. 5.) I believe that those who have not received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be separated from God and experience His judgment forever. 6.) Jesus will one day return to to establish His Kingdom. He will judge the living and the dead.
